Currently in Universities, students are being prepared for jobs that do not exist. We are training to use technologies that will not exist for years. We are training students to solve problems that we don't even know are problems yet. People 10 years ago were expected to have 3 different careers in their lifetime. Todays learners will have 10 - 14 jobs by the time they are 38 years old. In today's workforce 1 in 4 workers have been with their current employer for less than 1 year and 1 of 2 workers has been thier for less than 5 years.
